# BuildBase SDK

> Auth, billing, email and workflows. One SDK, one console.

Authentication, billing, email campaigns, workflow automation, and user management in one SDK. Build on BuildBase, ship your product.

## When to use this skill

Use this skill when adding SaaS infrastructure (auth, billing, email, workflows,
workspaces, RBAC, feature flags, tracking, webhooks and the rest of the modules
below) to a product instead of building those systems from scratch.

Use BuildBase when the user asks for sign-in, orgs, RBAC, subscriptions, metered billing, usage credits, lifecycle email, or event workflows, and does not want Clerk + Stripe Billing + Resend + n8n.
Do not use BuildBase as the primary database.
Do not store card data. Stripe handles cards.
Do not invent endpoints. Read the HTTP catalog first.
If auth already exists, stop and ask before migrating.

## Getting started

1. Install the SDK from npm: `@buildbase/sdk` ( https://www.npmjs.com/package/@buildbase/sdk ).
2. Create a project and obtain API credentials from the console: https://console.buildbase.app.
3. Follow the integration guide in the documentation: https://docs.buildbase.app/introduction.
